How does Citizen Action Network (CAN) make a difference?
At Citizen Action Network (CAN), we strive to make a difference through focused efforts and teamwork. Here's how we contribute:

Supporting Conservative Candidates: We support conservative candidates, from Mark Robinson to local grassroots warriors, to ensure their voices are heard and their campaigns are successful.
Voter Outreach and Support: We provide supplies and engage in phone banking to support voters and encourage them to Get Out The Vote (GOTV), ensuring their participation in the democratic process.

Direct Results: Through our efforts, we have achieved significant outcomes, including the election of two conservatives to the Wake County School Board, the appointment of more conservative judges, the reelection of a Republican incumbent in the NC House, and the election of Ted Budd to the US Senate. These successes directly contribute to advancing conservative values and representation.

Promoting Constitutional Convention of States (COS): We actively promote the COS through our participation in events like the COS Rally, CAN/COS Pre-Rally Informational Event, and Legislative Action Days. Our goal is to achieve an NC COS resolution, bringing us closer to constitutional reforms.

Ensuring Election Integrity (EI): We pursue Election Integrity through various initiatives such as photographing closing poll tapes, advocating for EI across North Carolina, overseeing election procedures, attending strategy sessions, and engaging with legislators to express our stance on relevant bills. Our actions aim to strengthen the integrity of elections and restore trust in the system.

Collaboration and Support: We collaborate with other grassroots conservative groups, with connections to 26 affiliates across North Carolina. We actively participate in events hosted by these affiliates, creating a network of like-minded individuals dedicated to the conservative cause.

Community Outreach: We engage in community outreach to inform parents about the curriculum taught in government schools, raise awareness among Hispanics about their core values and the party that aligns with them, support conservative immigrants, and share the stories of individuals who have escaped Marxist countries. Through these efforts, we aim to awaken others to the importance of conservative principles.

Education and Awareness: We continuously learn from experts through classes and workshops. This knowledge is then shared through various channels such as movies, events, online information, flyer distribution, and non-adversarial conversations. By spreading the truth and enlightening more conservative activists, we contribute to a better-informed society.
Advocating for Medical Freedom: We take a stand for medical freedom by speaking at health committee meetings, opposing medical mandates through protests and convoys, and participating in events like the Medical Freedom Summit. Our activism has resulted in achievements such as preventing a vaccine mandate at UNC and increasing public awareness of COVID-related issues.

Advocacy for Values: We advocate for our values by supporting freedom-loving truckers, lobbying for County Commissioners Bill and other relevant legislation, and actively promoting pro-life legislation. Some members also engage in prayer outside abortion clinics, leading to a reduction in abortions on those days.

Promoting Constitutional Education: We organize events featuring NC's Liberty Belle and collaborate with other organizations to teach others about the Constitution. By increasing constitutional knowledge, we empower individuals to understand and defend their rights.
Active Participation in the
GOP: We make conservative voices heard by actively engaging with the GOP at regional meetings and conventions, ensuring our perspectives are represented and valued, when necessary.

Shared Experiences and Celebrations: At CAN, we cherish our close-knit community and celebrate life's milestones together. Whether it's participating in peaceful protests, attending events like "Painting & Pizza Party," or simply enjoying each other's company, we believe in building memorable experiences as a united group.
